In the beginning there were funny looking tires made out of a chunk of rubber squeezed out of a rubber tree, the ride was very uncomfortable and tiring,
but it all changed with an invention of the inflatable tire.
The first pneumatic tire did not last more than a week or two, the technology truly came a long way since, yet one tiny rusty nail and boom, you have to replace or at least fix the tire, and since is not that simple as a bicycle tire, it is usually done by a tire company who knows the entire procedure as professional as they can be.
As an old man says:
“A lot is riding on your tires”
There are hundreds of different tires on the market, all terrain, all season and mud and snow tires, all for different type of climate and type of cars, and they are all vulnerable.
It is so important to rotate your tires and constantly check for the right tire pressure, for safety, but lately with the price of gasoline skyrocketing, you can save on gas with the proper tire monitoring.
Old aged or bulged tires can give up any minute, and we strongly recommend to buy new tires at least for the front wheels, and place the aged tires at the rear of your vehicle.
This way if a blow up occur, at least you will not loose the control of your car or truck, and not get involved in a more serious accident. Rare tires can be changed easily when they deflate in a second, and the risk of an accident is usually minimal.
You can always replace a hunk of metal, but you cannot replace your health.
